Very easy to use. I have used turbo tax for years.

would recommend to anyone to use. Do not have to be a CPA to use. Just need to be able to answer questions yes or no.
What's great about it: easy, safe, use at my leisure. stress free. Can do in my pj's

Good Tool, Bad update problems

This is the 5th year I have used Turbo Tax. It is great from year to year to transfer your information. I NEVER had a problem until this year.
Going through the process wasn't bad until the end. A Federal form wouldn't update (took about 20 minutes to figure out how to do it). Then when I went to e-file it wouldn't validate. It took another 20 minutes with 2 updates, emptying my trash (I have no clue why), and restarting the computer.
When there is a problem(s) Turbo Tax search and help features are not the most user friendly.
As of right now I will use Turbo Tax next year, but if I have problems again I will not use them in the future.
What's great about it: Help in each section
What's not so great: Updates not updated

Tax help

What a relief and a mony saver by not having someone else do it for pay. i can take my time and work in the nonstressful enviroment of my own home.
What's great about it: Easy, quick No headachs
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax and Mississippi with 2 state

Because the State of Mississippi wants to have all information related to income in Florida, the program is not useable for filing in MS. I.e. For all sources of income in Florida, MS wants the business ID and address. That piece of information is not required for the Federal return so it is not specifically collected when completing the TurboTax Federal portion. It would have caused me to provide 300 additional pieces of information in order to file electronically with MS. Manual filing in MS is the best option in my case.
What's great about it: Federal is excellent and easy to use
What's not so great: Primary residence in Florida with Mississippi income is too difficult

Love Turbo Tax

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years, with two exceptions. In those years, I used a professional preparer because of complicated issues. BOTH pros made errors that caused the IRS to do paper audits. I've never had an issue with the returns I prepared myself with Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Easy, Accurate, Can Be Done in More than One Session
What's not so great: NONE

Taxes Finally Done

I love the fact that I'm able to prepare my taxes using this software but the only thing I didn't like was the updates. I think the updates should have been done before we got started--not halfway through the process. That was 11 minutes that could have been done upfront, allowing me the opportunity to do something else because once I got started, I wanted to get it done and out the way.
All in all, I love the software!
What's great about it: Ease of Preparing Taxes
