Disappointing state e-file experience

I was very disappointed to find out that after paying to efile with the state, that I was not eligible to efile with the state. I would have expected Turbo Tax to know my state's efile eligibility requirements. Hopefully my efile charge will be reimbursed.
What's great about it: Relatively easy to use. Electronic data import is great. Transferring data from prior year's return is helpful too.
What's not so great: Paid for state e-file only to find out that I was not eligle to efile with the state.

This year it looks like Turbotax follows and simply explains the tax law as it asks questions without clicking on help. Very nice!!
I wish I could see a preview of all pages and click which page I want to print. I do not want to print all 50 pages and have to guess which worksheet to click or go through manually and write down the page numbers and type them in my print queue.
What's great about it: Closer to actual form filing
What's not so great: I wish you could see printing pages
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Facilitates data entry by caring data over from prior year return. Allows user to either be walked through each step or to navigate independently. Allows you to electronically file for free! Enables you to print out & save a copy of your submission, however the option to print isn't intuitive & is the last step in the process. Relevant data is also transferred over to State Tax if purchased, however the Virginia State software isn't designed with the same user options as the Federal, i.e. it walks you through the various steps & doesn't allow the user to navigate independently, also if a mistake is made the recommendation is to delete the state software & start all over, which can lead to a lot of frustration!
What's great about it: Quick, carries data over from prior year & prints out all the necessary forms.
What's not so great: Not very intuitive & not easy to navigate through.

Makes my experience easier. since I don't know tax law, this software makes it possible for me to do my own taxes and avoid paying a preparer to do them. I think this is better for us.
What's great about it: Walked me through every catagory
What's not so great: doesn't allow for explanation of special situations

It would be helpful to have the ability to ask a question. Not necessarily a tax questions but an "how to operate turbo tax" question.
