All sorts of issues...

I had issues with the program as I tried to file a joint return. The program kept moving forward into other areas for information and even tried to finish the filing before I could get my spouses information inputted. Then I wanted to correct information and afterwards I noticed that it had duplicated some of the deductions. On the third attempt I even duplicated more deductions. I gave up and removed the entire program and reinstalled it. But this time I made sure that the program had all the updates BEFORE I started my return. But again I had to FORCE the program to go back and allow me to enter my spouses information.

terrible finish to say the least. software is not supported to print forms, now I have nothing to show the irs should an audit presaent itself. someone needs to address the poor performance of the pdf print screen. stupid review the forms you want to print,...then will never get to the print screen to print a copy of the forms. never again, there is no excuse for this software to get worse and worse every year. someone better have a copy of my forms because I'll be calling if I hear from the IRS.
What's great about it: none
What's not so great: Will not print out forms at the end. likes to view forms to print or review but never prints.

Got it done, again!

TT gets better each year. I basically had to just input data and answer questions. For the most part, I got done in less time this year, as the program does a great job of sticking the numbers where they need to go, including both Fed and State forms.
What's great about it: Overall, easy to move through and program does more and I do less.
What's not so great: I still have to guess what to do when messing with K-1 forms, but I've learned from the past what is most likely right.

Consistently easy

I've been using TurboTax for several years now. I keep coming back to it because it has a consistent look and feel from year to year. It really is easy to use, especially if I've done my job and have all my information gathered in advance. Generally, the only difficulty I have is my lack of organization. TurboTax helps me overcome my weakness.
What's great about it: Had answers to every question I had
What's not so great: Guided session seems to take forever

Family tax filing

I've been using tax software since 1993, and find it to be an efficient process to prepare & submit personal tax filing. The ability to reference multiple years (via *.PDF files) is a huge plus!
When a tax advisor is necessary, the software usually directs me to the cause-effect.
What's great about it: Accurate, easy-to-use & consistent
What's not so great: Schedule K-1 continues to be complex for data entry, as is the benefit of recording 529-plan investments,

The program works great

This is my first year using turbo tax after 20 plus years of using taxcut and HRBlock. I would highly recommend turbo tax over the other programs since it did for me this year, what taxcut could not do for me last year. I even called and tried to get the techs at HR Block to correct the error in there program last year, but to no avail. I will be using turbo tax from now on.
What's great about it: I feel the program is easy to use

being a mechanic, more clarity on writing off my constant purchase of tools to keep up with the times.
