program has been used for the past 3 or 4 years and is very, very
good. I did not like the system telling me that I could not get a successful e-mail sent even after getting a last minute down-load of program up-dates.

I have used Turbo Tax for about the last 10 years. It has always been easy to navigate and use, along with the great tips from tax professionals.

Been using Turbo Tax for years. Appreciate no big changes that complicate rather than simplify this ridiculous rite of spring. Would love if Intuit would bring an acceptable form of Quicken to Mac users.

The program was fairly easy, although I would have liked to have seen the return done on the 1040EZ as a comparison. I was a little upset that the program asked if I wanted to use the "free state filing" that was included and then required payment to file the state (after I indicated that I wanted to use the free state). This is extremely misleading as you can get the federal filing online without purchasing the program from a retail store.
What's great about it: Fairly easy
What's not so great: Did not contain the free state filing as it claimed

Filing with confidence

When I use Turbo Tax for the preparation of my return, I feel totally confident that it will be done right. I also feel confident that I have taken all the deductions to which I am entitled. Turbo Tax takes the filer through all the necessary aspects of the return and provides explanations for those areas that may be a bit complex. I have used this product for many years and will continue to recommend it to my friends and family. Thank you, Turbo Tax professionals.
What's great about it: I like the step-by-step interview for income, deductions, gains and losses. I also like the e-file option.
What's not so great: In general, the tax laws are too complex for the average person. That is not Turbo Tax's fault though.
