poor donation form filling

we donated most of our children's old clothes, I keep very detailed records of what was donated, I used your forms to identify the items. But when I did the reviews I had 347 errors because the software did not fill in the items as I listed them.
1.) I listed things as clotheing or house hold items or clothing then I had to fill in EVERY line for each separate item shorts, shorts, shoes, pants, boots, ect....
2.) Then I had to go through every item listed shoes, shorts, pants, boots, ect.... and list how I got these prices when I used your work sheet, which I assumed it used resale shop pricing for.
Turbo Tax should have filled these lines 347 of them for me with the questions I answered.
We will try it one more year, if it is not fixed I will be shopping for a new tax software company this added HOURS to my taxes.

Frustrating Experience in Investment Income Sectio

I was doing just fine until I got into the Investments section. When I had finished reporting my transactions in Box A, I found to my surprise that there was no place that I could find where I could report the Box D (long-term) transactions. I tried for an hour to figure out where to find information about it, and finally ended up calling them. After waiting for a while, I got a lady on the phone who tried to help me, but it wasn't until I Googled the problem that I found out I was supposed to update the Turbo Tax software that I had just purchased. She stayed on the line with me until that was completed and I finally got the screen that gave me the Box D option. I don't understand why this was not included in the first place - it's not like it's a new tax law - and it's frustrating when I can't figure out what to do about it and there's no answer in the HELP section.
What's great about it: Ease of MOST of Turbo Tax
What's not so great: Lack of explanation as to why Box D Investments reporting wasn't there.

I can't believe I waited so long to do it

I will use Turbo Tax again. This was a very easy process.
What's great about it: The overall check for errors was awesome
What's not so great: The 1 free State return to e-file was not there.

Love Turbo tax

I have been using Turbo Tax for the past few years and I LOVE it. It walks me through all I need and helps me prepare my families taxes too! I'm not going anywhere else!

Won't ever use anything else

I've only not used TurboTax once, and I will NEVER make that mistake again. Turbotax is easy to use, incredibly helpful and explanatory. This year I had a few confusing points with doing multiple state returns but since I'm able to stop and look things up, and go back- and refill out the forms as many times as I need to- there's nothing to worry about. Still got them done in a jiff.
What's great about it: so much easier than any other way to do taxes
What's not so great: rarely if anything comes up that requires any extra work
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

2013 tax review

The Turbo Tax application was quick and easy to use. I used it for the first time, and was impressed with the ease of use. It saved me hours of reading the tax code, and saved me the risk of mis-interpreting the code. I did it both ways, first manually, then with Turbo Tax, and gained 25% more refund by using the application.
What's great about it: quick, logical, intuitive, comprehensive

Minimized My Tax Liability

Honestly speaking, you guys have made life so easy for millions of tax payers. I used to get a headache thinking of filing tax returns in the past. The price of Turbo Tax is so reasonable. I have become a sales person and ambassador for this product. Keep it up!

2013 software deficiencies

Software features not good as at home tax software. Single page displays of all the pertinent forms and Go to features not very crisp
What's not so great: data imports from other tax sftware did not import previous years tax summary information
Pros: I bought or sold investments
