Turbotax umbrella in the reign of taxes

Taxes are always a headache for me but at least Turbotax is like two aspirin and sitting in the easy chair while the Turbotax folks make this area of my of my life more bearable. Good job keep making it better year by year for the last 20 years? KUDOS!!!!
What's great about it: Allowed me to skip a lot of things that didn't apply without having to go through it..
What's not so great: Wished W-2 import worked better. Still having some trouble there.

Good but one issue this year

This year when we down loaded multiple states to do two tax returns (1 Joint for wife and I and 2nd for daughter) we completed Fed and State (KS) for the joint and Fed & DC for my daughter. However, the TURBO TAX program associated both state and DC returns to both the joint and daughter's return. It required calling Turbotax help desk and working through the issue by removing the state tax file that had already been completed from each return, then re-downloading the DC return to complete my daughters then doing the same for the joint. Help desk was very professional - he stated that it was a glitch in the program.
What's great about it: easy to follow and good checks

Quick and Easy

This review is regarding the return I just did for my father who passed in 2013. I used the Deluxe edition. He had very little in the way of an estate so the return was pretty straightforward with one exception. He had transferred deed to his personal home to me and my brother before he died. I wasn't sure if I needed to fill out a form related to that, ie as gift. As far as I can tell I didn't because it can't be deducted.
What's great about it: Thorough, easy to go through all the questions
What's not so great: Wasn't quite sure how to handle gift of house for my deceased father to two of us kids

Lots of Glitches this year

Really disappointed with the number of problems this year. Makes me concerned that my return may not be accurate. Posted brokerage info twice, home mortgage deduction for office use did not work properly for about a month, even after sending in the information and now today, unable to file until I rebooted my computer.
What's not so great: Too many glitches- self employed house deduction errors plus others.

Turbo Tax has helped me for the past 3 yrs. I used to pay someone hundreds of dollars to do this because i thought it was over my head.

2013 Turbo Tax Software the Best Ever

The Turbo Tax software application gets better and better each year. I have used Turbo Tax for many years. In my opinion this is the best so far! When I finished entering my 2013 data, my first thought was "I can't be done already." Yet I was!
Two things in particular I like about using Turbo Tax as a tool in preparing our taxes: 1) available support and 2) error checks. There are a number of ways Turbo Tax provide support to their users: links to IRS, help screens, online support, and phone support (I may be missing some). This give me great comfort vs filling in a paper form and finding out later I missed a deduction, made an error, or something else. The same goes for the error checks. It's a great tool. Thank you Intuit for putting out a great product with great support.
What's great about it: Clear Instructions, Easy, Fast & Understandable!
What's not so great: Paying a fee to E-file a State return.

Excellent Every Time!

I've been using TurboTax ever since I've had an income. I love it. It makes the job so easy and helps me understand what I'm doing. And every year is easier to do because it carries over my info. I can choose to have them guide me through or if I'm doing the same as the previous year I can skip through to what I know I need to fill in and be done quickly. I've never had a problem with TurboTax!
What's great about it: Accurate, Cheap & Easy

I procrastinated and didn't start my taxes until last night. Just finished filing them, less than 24 hours later. Excellent and thorough program. Filed with confidence.
