Almost great

I had a great experience and ran through the system very easy... except when I "x" out there was no alert asking me if I wanted to SAVE my return!
I lost EVERYTHING - 3 hours of detail and work down the drain. I was very upset and had to do the whole thing all over again. I am amazed that something so simple would not be in the program.. fix that!

Other than that - which I think is a no brainer - I had a positive experience with this tool.
What's great about it: very easy to use - walked you through every step
What's not so great: first time I exited it did NOT ask me to save and I lost everything!

Gets the job done, but is deceptive

Might as well have just done it online instead of purchasing the "DELUXE" DVD which claims to include the state return (minus the fine print).
What's great about it: Gets the job done
What's not so great: Charging to state e-file in a product called 'DELUXE Turbotax' that says it is already included is deceptive
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Please clean up TT before it's issued. What should have taken 2 hours took all day

What's not so great: Error codes disrupted return. Must clean up BFORE release

So Easy A Monkey Could Do Their Own Taxes

Quick and easy software to use. Makes tax law sound simple to even the least tax savvy individual. Makes filing taxes a piece of cake and something that becomes a quick chore rather than a weekend ruining event. I would definitely recommend this software to anyone looking to file their own taxes, whether it's your first use or the tenth time you've used it, Turbo Tax always gets it right.
The software works with you. It tells you exactly what forms to use, what boxes of information to fill in, and where to find that information. The HELP feature is wonderful if you don't understand something or need more clarification. This tax software makes understanding tax laws and filing taxes so easy that a monkey could do it.
What's great about it: Simple to use, fast, efficient, easy to understand
What's not so great: Nothing

Need to include tax deductions contributed by phone/text message/game purchases (e.g., SimCity Red Cross, etc.).
What's great about it: Doesn't take a rocket scientist to complete from the comfort of my easy chair.
What's not so great: That I have to do this at all. (Not your fault)
