Awesome Experience!!!

This is my second year using Turbo Tax and it asked me if I wanted to import last year's return in order to compare this year's return with last year's. It made it really easy as all my info was there (names, addresses, etc.). I love how there are help screens for every item so that if you have a question you can just click to get help. I found I didn't need to enter the "forum" or pay extra for help; Turbo Tax's program gave me all the help I needed. Everything is written in understandable English, not confusing accounting language. I used to do my own taxes using the IRS publications, and the process used to take an entire weekend. After getting my numbers and paperwork organized, Turbo Tax has reduced that time to less than two hours. Well worth the price!!! I also used to get confused and frustrated because I couldn't understand what was and was not allowed as a deduction, etc. Turbo Tax does all of that work for me. And when I sold my house, moved, and purchased a new house, Turbo Tax asked me the financial questions and knew where to put all the numbers. I won't do my taxes anymore without Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Loved how last year's return was compared with this year's return and that Turbo Tax prompted me based on the older one.
What's not so great: None - Turbo Tax did it all for me.

Minor problems

Program will not allow printer to make a copy of the returns. Other programs print normally. Otherwise fine.

What's great about it: Very Easy Application
What's not so great: Had a 'looping' problem in program at California AMT
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have enjoyed using TURBO TAX for several years and each time is easier and i get the best refunds ever. I have others asking for my help and I suggest Turbo Tax. They sit with me while I show them and then they do it themselves the next time.

TurboTax walks you through everything step-by-step. There are no stacks of paper to shuffle through just follow the steps and you're done.

Since my tax filing is quite simple, I can't fairly judge all of the available features. Though I skip most of the sections, it seems to be very thorough and concise.

Great Program, But Just a Couple of Nitpicks

Have been a Turbo Tax user for years and have enjoyed its simplicity and ease of use. I'm not an accountant, but I am well educated and found the user interface to be quite satisfactory.
Two minor nitpicks or recommendations for improvement:
1. Screen resolution. I know there are a gabillion different monitors out there, but it seems to me that the software could check screen resolution and adjust screens to fit. Reading a question and then having to scroll down to answer is a distraction.
2. Let me tell the computer to stop asking whether it should download info from Turbo Tax partners or let me enter by hand. The "stop asking me prompt" should have come up the first time. Another annoyance.
Overall though a great program. Strongly recommend.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and file once I had all the paperwork in one pile. Keep it up.
What's not so great: Repeated queries about downloading info vs enter-by-hand. Screen resolution.
