Quick and Easy

What's great about it: Fast, Quick, Easy
What's not so great: None!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

GREAT PROGRAM....LONGTIME USER SHOULD RECEIVE SOME TYPE OF CREDIT FOR BEING A LOYAL CUSTOMER!
What's great about it: I have been using Turbo Tax for the last 10 years. Each year, it is getting better in a superior way.
What's not so great: I would like to pay for the Turbo Tax program out of my refund, instead using my credit card.

As a retiree, the Turbo Tax program is easy to work with. There were items of concern but was able to find the answers in the worksheets.
It would be extra good if there was a subject matter that needs to be further reviewed;--> a click on the subject would bring you to the desired information. ie: why a State refund from a previous year is not re portable as income if you did not itemize deductions the year before.

Easy to file

Have used turbo tax for years and it keeps getting better. More detail and questions asked to ensure all possible tax benefits are realized. recommend this program to everyone.
What's great about it: Quick and easy. All the information at your finger tips.

Rocking Turbo

The only thing that was not real clear is on the health deduction as I pay for several plans and the main plan is entered on the w-2, but the others are not. Need to clarify that in the deductions because it could mean miss itemization
of those deductions

Should Have Waited

My return is fairly easy to fill out. However, I was notified that a form for PA general sales tax was not yet available and I would be notified when it was. After that, I encountered the "Updates" button.( It seems to me that in prior years the updates were done before the return was even started.) I proceeded on, thinking the tax form I needed would be included, and was then told my return was finished and ready to be e-filed. So I did. My mistake, as the PA tax had not been included in my deductions. Now I have to figure out if it is worth it to file an amended return. I think Turbo Tax should have reminded me that my return was not ready to be filed.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and understand
What's not so great: If a form is not available, have us wait to file
