STATE HANDLEING OF RETIREMENT INCOME STILL NOT THA

tHE HANDLING OF MA. STATE RETIREMENT IS NOT ALL THAT GOOD, SENT ME TO SCHEDULE C IN THE REVIEW AND THAT WAAS NOT THE PLACE TO MAKE THE CHANGES.
aLSO WHEN YOU ARE DONE WITH A SECTION AT ALLWAYS BACK TO THE TOP OF THE PAGE CAUSING A LOT OF SCROLING TO GET TO THE NEXT SECTION.
IT IS STUPID TO ONLY ALLOW ONE PERSON TO HAVE A NICK NAME
aLSO WHEN YOU ARE DONE WITH A SECTION AT ALLWAYS BACK TO THE TOP OF THE PAGE CAUSING A LOT OF SCROLING TO GET TO THE NEXT SECTION.

Tough multiple State returns improve for 2014

First time for two state returns (MO & KS - with KS as resident state). Fed info not complete into the MO format. Questions about percentage of income for spouse that received no income from MO (original Fed import / input). Was troubling that this math / matching situation was not resolved.
Most of the flow was fine and no issues. Much better job than I could do on my own - just need to take it to the next level for 2014.
What's great about it: Nice to have all in one place
What's not so great: carry over from Fed information to multiple states not complete
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Good Tax stuff

the software worked well just had some issue with resetting my password to buy an extra state.... the issue was resolved and i am very happy with the product. I have personal used turbo tax for a over 5 years
What's great about it: easy to use and grate for my tax info
What's not so great: password reset does not work in the software well

Time Saver

We replaced our Dell PC with a new iMac last fall, and I was concerned that last year's TT files might not have transferred over. Thanks to a good design by the TT people and some help from the Apple gurus, I was able to migrate last year's return over to the iMac. This year's computations never blinked an eye -- all worked perfectly. The only difficulty we encountered was that we failed to update TT before filing via email, and we ran into a problem submitting the returns due to absence of the update in our software. We were able to solve the problem but it took some time and frustration. Nevertheless, all's well that end's well.
What's great about it: Saving information from previous year
What's not so great: Difficulty updating TTax software before filing

Ups and Downs

My regular computer is in the shop so I had to use my small laptop. I had to copy 2012 tax file onto a flash drive and somehow lost it when transferring to my laptop.
Anyway, I finally got it done.
This was not a TurboTax probem but mine.

What's great about it: Fun even on my very small laptop
What's not so great: I had a lot of trougle due to changing computers from last year.

Cant make a mistake!

I would strongly recommend TurboTax to anyone who uses a third party tax service. Easy to use - no tax knowledge needed. You can't go wrong!

Simply the best

Turbo Tax rocks. Simply the best self tax software out there. easy to use and lets you work on your taxes at your own rate. The multiple electronic e-file is the best for my family. I am married, but we file separately to maximize the refund from uncle Sam.
What's great about it: maximum refund, very easy, can work at my pace, great price for the program
What's not so great: having to scroll all the way down to continue
