Got the job done!

TT is about as fast as anything I use on my computer and faster than a number of programs. The link between my Federal and State programs is most helpful, and saved me by picking up an error that I never would have seen on my own. As the tax laws become more and more complicated I rely on TT far more than before. The last couple of years I've taken the audit service if for nothing more than the peace of mind it gives me. I've heard a number of horror stories about individuals facing the IRS alone. This is cheap protection!
What's great about it: the step by step process is easy to use and catches things I wouldn't
What's not so great: Nothing under TT's control!

I would not prepare my own taxes without it.

Turbotax has enabled me to do my own tax rather than go to a tax agency, who would charge for each piece of paper I'd need to process (e.g. multiple banks). What was superb this year is that I got an online account with my investment institution which happens to be among the Turbotax "import data" businesses. What used to take a couple hours was done automatically in a couple minutes. I may have missed a feature, which would be to tell Turbotax to automatically go to the Standard Deduction and skip entering deduction data. Since I have paid off my mortgage, I am always better off with the Standard Deduction (if nothing unusual occurred during the year
What's great about it: Auto update with last years info. State included. Fed Efile paid. Ability to select stuff manually.
What's not so great: Must pay state Efile. Need a mark this spot and return to the spot feature in case I backtrack to find something.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Super Easy

This is the only way to file taxes. There cannot be an easier or faster way. And you are prompted to get the maximum refund.
What's great about it: Very detailed yet stupid simple.
What's not so great: Can't think of any.

2013 Refund Review

Turbo Tax software and the support staff helped me survive this ordeal. The IRS regulations are too ambiguous and cumbersome.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax made it easy
What's not so great: Government rules took hours to read and understand.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have beeen using turbo tax since 2006 . I'm so glad i decided to use it...i also recommend it to many friends.
What's great about it: very efficient and easy to use
