I have used Turbo Tax for the past 5 years. I have never had a problem with it at all.
I like that they give clear definitions of what you can deduct, claim, etc.
The first year, I signed up for the Turbo Tax online expert help because I wanted to make sure that I was doing it correctly. I never had an issue.
Great program and affordable.

If you have a simple return then it works, but if you have anything slightly un-vanilla then TurboTax is not reliable. For example I had a severance package that was not taxable for my state, but federally taxable. TurboTax didn't have a way for me to mark this as such and kept telling me I had an error when I didn't want to include the severance in my wages.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

What's great about it: took less time plus automatically pulled in previous years Turbo Taxxdata saving time and energy
What's not so great: No Cons here, they're all still in prison

I don't own the property, I lease it but then have the business of renting it out. This situation was not addressed.
It was very confusing where I should put the K-1 form information.
And the NOL stuff was really bad. Why can't they prefill in the Statement stuff?
What's great about it: Cost
What's not so great: It didn't give an option for a rental that was a sub-lease.
