Love it

I've used Turbo Tax now for over 10 years and plan to continue to use it. I love the product.
What's great about it: I love how easy it is to use and that it remembers everything from previous years and automatically fills in the tedious
What's not so great: When you use the Easy steps and hit continue it always brings you back to the top and you have to scroll down.

Reviews all deductions and gives you the maximum amount that you can deduct. Very easy to use

I have used Turbo-tax for a number of years and feel very confident that all my information is accurately reflected on my returns.

Awesome experience

1. Needed better expln for line 42 federal tax return in this year showed $0 for me this year when i have $15k
2. At one point in summary you only showed Fed and NJ and not NY. I was worried that i wont get the refund from NJ. It reappeared when I filed.. not sure why it is so.. is it a bug?
What's great about it: very easy interface.. and happy with the product
What's not so great: Better expln in few places needed

Updates and sometimes hard to follow instructions

Turbo Tax is probably still the best software available, even for more complex returns. However, software udpates block things like efiling until you make them. Also, some of the calculations are made without explanation, and when you attempt changes in classifications or deductions (like IRA) you don't get very good explanations or guides. Overall though, it is still preferable unless you own a business. Then, pay an accountant.
What's great about it: Step by step instructions
What's not so great: Software updates block steps, printing difficult
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

painless return

I hate doing my taxes. Turbo Tax let me complete and file my returns in about an hour and get on with my life.
What's great about it: easy to use, covers all the deductions & credits
