Needs more beta testing

Overall, this seems like average software that does its job reasonably well. But, when filing I hit "Send" and only THEN did I get a prompt to update the software because there was an upgrade available. I updated and then the program took me back to an earlier page where I had to enter data all over. It would be FAR better to get a prompt to update WHEN THE PROGRAM DETECTS AN UPDATE IS AVAILABLE!!! That, in my mind, is poor programming, and should have been caught before launch.
What's great about it: Calculations seem accurate
What's not so great: Inconvenient prompt for updating

basics ok

things like "carry forward" for deductions:
you could be more helpful, especially when I have used your program from the year before.
If I had not remembered, I would have lost that deduction!
You transfer the basics, why not transfer that info too??????

turbo tax is Great

I have used Turbo Tax for over 20 years..I do not want to use anything else.
When using a tax agent or CPA its your responsibility to give them the info... then its your responsibility to read full tax form before signing and make sure its correct.. WHY PAY SOMEONE FOR IT TOO. All I have to do is answer the Questions.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Super work, Turbo Tax

I found TurboTax is still the best for taxes. No one else makes it so complete, through and understandable. I refered to someone learning another language, which many must speak to do Taxes, but not on your system.
I am a 40 yr. veteran of taxes, and it was never easier than on TurboTax.

What's not so great: Too many requests for already asked.

Like Turbo Tax

Hope I don't get audited since I couldn't correct this problem.
What's great about it: Used for many years, no audit from federal or states
What's not so great: Difficult to correct TT errors, I have a 2013 form I can't delete or edit so it is included in my 1040 efile

Still problems with printing returns

I have downgraded TurboTax because you can no longer print directly from the print center. The conversion to a Word document doesn't seem to work, and I must create and then print from a PDF file. If you correct this problem I will go back to rating Turbo Tax 5 stars and perfect.
What's great about it: Very thorough and logical
What's not so great: Printing copies of returns problematic

Quick and Easy

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years and have found it to be a good program to have as it remembers your tax return history and brings up usefull information. if you have questions the convienient pop up box provides alot of answeres! I own property and such and still was able to complete my return in about an hour.. and I got a bigger return!!
What's great about it: Questions Provided, Very detailed, Brings up last year information
What's not so great: None!
