I Liked the way the format worked to make it easy to follow through Oregon State was not a good system don"t know if this is the states doing our the program

Late Forms

Again, I repeat that your forms were late, so the Turbo Tax would not let me file. After waiting several weeks I got nervous and sent a copy in the mail. I would hope that next years Turbo tax copy will keep up with sending out forms early, so we don't have to worry about being late with filing our taxes. Everything else about Turbo Tax was just fine.

Taxes done in a NSCAR moment

Using Turbo Taxes for years and gets better and better. Getting my taxes done within a hour or less and with less aggravation is worth the cost. I have my documents/records ready so I can just plug the numbers in and all the calculations are done. Sorry you still have to keep records. Links on the page pull up explanations specific to where I am or I go online to troubleshoot if needed. Plenty of online forums from professionals and from equally perplexed taxpayers. I have never used the extra services offered and don't feel there is a need.
What's great about it: Links for help on page/online; data entry easy; saves time and effort
What's not so great: Occasional software bugs; advertising for related services

Outstanding easy

To be honest Turbo Tax might be easier for me because I am a retired accountant who at one point in his life actually prepared taxes for clients the hard manual way. So I can tell by just looking whether the software is preparing the return correctly. However, to keep it simple based on all the interruptions I get while trying to file our taxes I let the software lead me through the process so that no matter where I stop it picks up at that point when I continue.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructins
What's not so great: Not able to print current screen/document when I wanted to.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

they charged me for filing the state retrnrs for my family but the told me they could not file a federal return after 5 family members

I have been using Turbotax for over 15 years and is great. It is one of the easiest and faster ways to file and receive your refund. Recommend to all your friends.
