Now update must be kicked off manually, does not happen automatically when selecting a review
Some areas could not be access form the "guide yourself", but instead the user has to go through the guided process. For example, business expense details.

Simply easy to file

Been using Turbo-Tax since about 2009!
What's great about it: Details that I don't always remember are asked here for me so I won't forget. Also like the carry over each year!
What's not so great: Hard to find anything to dislike here! I actually feel good about doing my taxes myself!

To do our taxes was quick and easy, the questions were clear and easy to answer. It was easily done in one afternoon and I was very suprised by how much refund we got back

2013 Tax Returns

Turbo Tax is in general good tax software. It would be helpful if there was guidance why numbers change from, for example, the Schedule A itemized deductions, to a lower deduction taken elsewhere, such as Form 4952. The difference is related to progressively reduced deductions for higher AGIs, but a note saying that would be helpful to avoid researching into many forms and IRS publications to find out what's going on.
I have used the software for years, and it has improved steadily each year. Unless they go out of business, I plan to use it next year too!
What's great about it: Simplicity and comprehensiveness
What's not so great: Not all changes explained

The best part about turbo tax is that it is so easy! All i have to do is put tax docs in one place all year and then turn on turbo tax and VOILA, taxes are filed.

Simple to Use

I have been using Turbotax for about 20 years to calculate by income taxes. This software makes a thoroughly disagreeable task much simpler and less stressful. However, before next year, please add Form 1099-PATR as a choice in the list of other income so that it doesn't take an hour to find out where to put it.
What's great about it: Detailed step by step calculations
What's not so great: Need to add Form 1099-PATR so that it can be found easily
