What's great about it: carryover of info and yearly comparison
What's not so great: Would rather have free state electronic return instead of Quicken update

The down load from brokerages is incomplete on state source on some bonds. There must be some incompatability issue between RBC | Schwab and turbotax.
Other than that the down load makes for a more accurate tax filing particularly now that the brokerages supply the cost basis information.

Makes numbers go in the right place

Makes doing taxes easier than using a calculator and paper and pen...if I don't make a typo, then it will be accurate on all schedules
What's great about it: Helps keep process organized
What's not so great: Don't like to be charged to e-file State Return - should be "free" the same as Federal .

the download process was very confusing - but customer service helped me and walked me through the process. In the end turbo tax was a great experience!

TurboTax 2013 got the job done, son

Got a bit of a scare when we tried to transmit our returns, and after several attempts, TurboTax kept telling us it couldn't transmit them and that we may have to print them out and mail them. Fortunately, restarting our Mac resolved the issue.
What's great about it: Intuitive, helpful, easy to use

I have been using this software for many years, it is a vast improvement from paper returns. I like it better than other packages I've researched. I will be a returning customer.
What's great about it: Import of prior year information
What's not so great: Not enough detail when error is found.Difficult to know what you need.
