I had again a hard time finding out where I enter in the federal section what I paid into the state the year before. That just needs to be a little easier to figure out.

Takes the pain out of filing tax returns

Nobody enjoys filing tax returns. However, TurboTax makes filing very straightforward and easy. Features such as importing of previous year's tax information and the TurboTax "interview" style of gathering information is excellent and accurate.
What's great about it: Fluid importing of previous year's tax info.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax makes filing taxes much easier!! The questions guide you through the whole process. You can rely on the calculations and forms being perfect, which eliminates the possibility of arithmetic errors. I've been using TurboTax every year for well over 16 years and will never do without it!
What's great about it: Turbotax guides you through every step with questions.
What's not so great: There were times when I needed further explanation of what information it wanted.

2013 Turbo Tax

Overall, VERY easy to use and fast. After I got my documents in order, it took only and hour to finish & file.
What's great about it: FAST! Accurate, easy to use.
What's not so great: had to manually quit TT to get the updates to "take"

Turbo Tax is Easy to Use and Accurate

I've used Turbo Tax for years and never had any problems from the IRS. It ensures that I cover all bases.
What's great about it: Easy to use; prompts me
What's not so great: Can't go to exact place with Step by Step- have to go through whole process for form

Great Program but poor update placement

Didn't mind using the program at all. Very helpful in doing our taxes. I did not like that it did not do updates at the very beginning of the program startup. I had fed in all my info and had to do update toward the end. Then, had some trouble updating that slowed us down. Overall a great program.
What's great about it: Great Program... Clear and well thought out seqence
What's not so great: Poor placement of update toward the end of work
