As Effortless as Tax-Time Can Be!

Been using TurboTax for many years. Always impressed with it's ability to get me through the "dreaded tax thing" with a minimum of stress and aggravation. Each year, there's a new tweek to make the process as simple to navigate as possible...keep up the great work!
Only negative at all is my desire for the state e-filing to be the same cost as the federal--free. Would be so much easier on environment. This would never detract me from purchasing, just is disappointing blemish to an otherwise flawless product.

We have used TurboTax for years. No worries about the complications of tax forms. It transfers information from your last return, so there is no extra typing. It guides you straight through all the topics with help if you need it. It calculates accurately and summarizes everything for you. I cannot see any reason not to use it.
What's great about it: Easy to follow without complications.
What's not so great: None.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax

I've filed my own tax returns since the early 70's, and in all that time the only thing I've hated more than filing tax returns is the thought of paying somebody else to file them for me. For the last five years, I've used TurboTax, and man, what a difference! There's still nothing I hate more than filing tax returns, but at least TurboTax makes it easy and systematic. I can't even imagine getting somebody else to do it for me now - TurboTax is so fast that I would spend more time gathering papers and traveling to a preparer than I do filing out my own.
What's great about it: Simple, straightforward, very easy to navigate
What's not so great: Hard to tell sometimes what is advertisement and what is tax preparation

Easy to do my taxes

I have used Turbo Tax for over 15 years and I am very pleased with the ease of use. A benefit of doing your own taxes with TurboTax is you learn what you need to watch for and save throughout the year to make processing your taxes as pain free as possible.
What's great about it: the user is stepped throught the forms with clear questions.
What's not so great: the file was not auto saved as I worked on it. I expected a every 2 minute autosave.

I have used Turbo Tax for YEARS. I do not consider any other way of doing my taxes. The questions are easily understood and after you have used Turbo Tax one time, the answers are remembered for the following year - so helpful. And the ability to download information is time saving.

Makes taxes easy. Start to finish total time was about an hour, including filing in two states. I'm not in the most complicated of tax situations, but with investments, ira contributions and deduction hunting an hour is pretty fast.
What's great about it: easy to navigate and understand the tax laws
What's not so great: Feels like I second guess myself, because it is so easy to use
