A few glitches this year

I have been a TurboTax user for 15 years and generally I am happy. This year there was a problem with one of my K-1s so that some of the info from the K-1 did not transfer to the form. It took me a while to figure out what to do to correct the error.
What's great about it: Auto transfer of prior year's info
What's not so great: Problem with K-1 Info
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Great program

I have been using TurboTax for a number of years. I especially like the feature that brings last year's info forward. We have rental property and TurboTax computes depreciation and keeps depreciation records. This saves much time.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: None
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Disaster for experienced user

So much extra work! I have a simple tax return. There were no problems. But upon clicking "transmit", I got a message that I needed to download updates. Strange, because I got that message during my data entry, and of course, I DID the download. Nonetheless, as instructed, I downloaded again, expecting the e-file to go through. No, the same error message. I repeated this process 3 times, before giving up, and NOW I HAVE TO FILE BY SNAIL MAIL. I plan to never again use TurboTax. I have lost confidence. If they are unable to e-file, how can I trust them?!
What's great about it: step by step this was, as always
What's not so great: Intuit TurboTax failed to efile!!!

Very quick and easy

TurboTax is always easy to use for our filing (which isn't complicated or itemized). I just wish the state e-filing fee was included in the software cost.
What's great about it: Simple, quick, efficient
What's not so great: Paying for state e-filing - should be included in cost

Loved the ease of it!

I have been using Turbo Tax since 2004 and have been super satisfied. I even recommended it to my in-laws!
What's great about it: I liked how easily the process moved along.
What's not so great: Had a hard time finding out where to claim my energy credit for my air conditioner.

Problem with NY

I moved to NY so it was the first time using the NY state, and filling in the part year resident form. I was trying to figure out exactly what "NY source income" was and there was no help in TT. I had to go to NY website, and clarify this. Would have been nice to have some help, or the link to the state page...other than that I thinkall was great.
What's great about it: The carry over information from last year
What's not so great: The NY state form could of used some help
