Time/Cost savings

I have used TT for the past 10 years, first time I had to do two States, TT made it easy and safe.
What's great about it: Made it east to do two States
What's not so great: Nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Assured My Accurate Filing

Overall I think Turbo tax is an outstanding software program. I do, however, wish the program allowed for more than five e-filings. I am not in the tax preparation "business", but I do have several immediate family members whose returns I prepare for them.
What's great about it: Outstanding method of covering each and every income/deduction area!
What's not so great: Would like to have had more e-filings. I only do tax returns for my immediate family but there are more than five.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Dependent Child Problem

In the Personal Info section, Turbo Tax did not ask if our 21-year-old daughter was a full-time student until the 3rd time I reviewed this section. When I responded that she was a full-time student in 2013, it lowered my federal tax by $4,000. If I had not reviewed this section several times, I would have overpaid $4,000 in federal taxes. Why didn't this question come up the first time through?
What's great about it: Mostly good
What's not so great: Had a problem with dependent child issue

Schedule D and e-Filing Problems

Even after you corrected Schedule D problems with the last update, I could not delete one of the 2 extra forms you originally provided to handle Schedule D issues. As a result, my return had errors.
Chose to mail Federal because you don't provide Form 1041, but was unable to e-File State. Seems like you had to e-file both or none.
Please provide Form 1041 next year, so I can e-file both returns.

Trouble with Iowa import of interest from Federal

Import of interest income from Fed return was complete but left some blank lines between a couple of entries. Program would not let me fix and kept giving me an error message.

You have really done a good job of continually improving the product and the experience - especially the full functionality for the state of MO! Your improvement and ease of use has improved so much that it makes me fly in the face of the old rule that people respond only to complain. I am responding due to the ease of use.

Good for Seniors!

Great program. The best part is that next year it will save you a lot of time as turbo tax saves all the info for you.
What's great about it: Takes you in hand, step by step. If you make a mistake, you can easily correct. it. Great program!
What's not so great: Understanding some of the sales tax questions.
