Did it again!

I have used TurboTax Deluxe for a number of years. As a sole proprietor with several sources of income, I need to file several schedules each year. The data input, while a little tedious, is convenient and necessary. The worksheets make a final review relatively easy.
What's great about it: Makes preparation of complex worksheets and forms about as simple as they can be.

Extra Deductions!

Just finished, the State of Minnesota passed a tax cut legislation in March and TurboTax caught it, making student loan interest deductible in Minnesota, increasing my return by over $100! It handles the updates seamlessly, prompted me to say that updates were necessary before filing and poof, there was an extra surprise! Also like using ItsDeductible and started using it when it cost something to download. Glad it is now part of the Deluxe package! Well worth it.
What's great about it: Love the use of Itsdeductible! easy to log in donations, value them and import to turbotax!

I have been using TurboTax for several years now. Every year it gets easier and quicker!!
What's great about it: East of use, Great Set Up

Some frustrations but overall still useful

On the whole, TT is still probably better than doing my taxes myself. However, having the online version suddenly charge more for the same service as last year, AND THEN having to uninstall and reinstall the desktop version simply because TT didn't inform you that you had to download the state form before starting or it would crash the program AND THEN having to install an update just as I'm trying to efile (which TT could have done at any other time that I had opened the program) made it a more frustrating experience than I've yet had with TT.
What's great about it: thorough; does math for you
What's not so great: frustrating glitches

Of many years using the product this is by far the worst. .You can't print - what is with this "no PDF reader" when you have it on your computer!! There are also other glitches. Will not purchase next year.

Turbo Tax review

The Its deductible for charity items is hard to follow, seems like there are 2 different sites with different values, and you have to open with separate usernames and pw, gets confusing.
Same with the electric filing is separate from turbo tax itself?

What's great about it: The walk through and help on complicated items like Stock options are automatic when you post in information from forms
What's not so great: trying to just file brings you to this site and can't skip, I am confused how to get to the electronic filing,
