What a great product

Although I have access to various free software products I've elected to use Turbo Tax year after year since it is easy to use and understand. It gets better every year as they make changes suggested by the users.
What's great about it: Very straight forward and easy to understand

2013 refund process review

when e-filing, didn't outright state if there were ECN fees or not chargeable to the filer. should be more overt.
What's great about it: easy to launch, easy to follow along, e-filing.
What's not so great: should know states that dont' have tax filing requirements and not bring up over and over.

e-filing taxes

Turbotax is charging the money for e-file without validating that the returns can be e-filed. To avoid calls to customer service for refund and better client experience, all the returns should be verified that they can be e-filed before the screen that comes with an option to purchase the e-file

Love Turbo Tax!

I love knowing my taxes will be done correctly and all the required forms are completed. I can save the information on my computer and the information I submitted automatically transfers to the next year. Once the basic information is entered I don't need to re-enter it the following year. Big plus!
What's great about it: Turbo Tax keeps a running tally of my returns. It checks for errors all the way through the process.
What's not so great: None.

Great experience!

Turbo Tax is a great income tax preparation product! I have used it for over 15 years and each year it seems to get better. It is very fast and easy to use. I also trust it's accuracy.
What's great about it: Quick, accurate, and easy.
What's not so great: No prompt of reducing taxable income by contributing X dollars to a deductible IRA.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I like that I can do my taxes when I want.
What's great about it: It is easier to do it myself than look for a professional.
What's not so great: I never feel like it is absolutely correct.

would like it easier to flip back and forth from your questions to how it appears/making changes on the actual tax form
What's great about it: completeness of questions to cover all areas
What's not so great: difficult to go to form to see exactly how an item"printsout"
