Updates did not work this year

I have used Turbo Tax for many years to complete my federal taxes, this year I ran into software issues. When I would click the check for updates, it would go way past the 11 minutes, only to find out it did not make any updates.
I ended up going to the Turbo Tax website to manually update. That was a little discouraging, this really should have been fixed.
What's great about it: simple and quick.
What's not so great: updates did not work this year.

I owed, but knew I would

I liked being guided first and then as I got more of my tax info I went through it all unguided. But finally I went on the guided to finish just to make sure I had not forgotten anything.
What's great about it: Avoided an accountant
What's not so great: nothing bad
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Turbo Tax Second to None

At the beginning, when trying to include incomes for married filing jointly, I became confused and could not complete incomes for spouse for that section of the form. I had to come back to it repeatedly in order to finally complete each with multipule income sources. After that, it was smooth sailing.
What's great about it: So easy, a child can do it!
What's not so great: Not so easy if the child can't read!

FILED MY FEDERAL AND STATE TAX RETURN

I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE OWNERSHIP OF A TIMESHARE PROPERTY LISTED ON THE TURBO TAX FORM. THERE IS NO WAY TO DIRECTLY DEDUCT PROPERTY TAXES OR FEES, ETC. RELATING TO THE OWNERSHIP OF A TIMESHARE PROPERTY WHERE A DEED IS ISSUED.
What's great about it: VERY EASY TO FILE WITH A FEW HICCUPS.
What's not so great: THERE ARE A FEW AREAS THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDED WITH BETTER EXPLANATIONS.

I've used Turbo Tax since 2006. I love it.
What's great about it: easy to understand, very helpful & introducest credits you never thought about.
What's not so great: IRS doesn't always allow a deduction for the price of Turbo Tax!

Great Mostly

It is very clear and fairly easy to use especially after a year or so. I wish it would pull up all former returns and learn more about me so it would ask less questions. Also, ever time you complete a section, it goes back to the main review screen instead of going ahead to the next item. You have to scroll all the way down each time to tell it to move ahead. Same button should be on the top of the screen so you don't have to scroll or it should just move on and only review about 4 times during the whole process.
Also, when you leave the program for the night and come back, you have to answer a lot of the same questions over again like you are just starting, instead of it picking up where you left off.

What's not so great: Keeps going back to main screen and you have to scroll down to continue
