Can't efile with a Mac...are you kidding?

It is crazy that you can get an untrue message (if you get an update you can exile) and can not easily exile if you have a Mac. If I wanted to send in paper which I had to do due to the bug, I would have just bought a pencil instead of TurboTax.

Turbo Tax speeds up the whole process immensely. You need to have your information, W2s and charitable donations etc. collected before you start. Then you simply answer the questions as they are presented when working through the presentation.
What's great about it: I feel confident that the results are accurate. It is easy to move around in the process to check various items
What's not so great: It took a little time to work through the charitable donations when donating items like clothing

I would never have been able to get an accountant all the information that was needed. With Turbo Tax, I was able to refer to my filing cabinet and have all the information at my finger tips.

Ran multiple deduction approaches and maximized my return
Was able to change deductions until tax liability was minimized.
Even was able to simulate next years return with drawing of Social Security starting at age 66. Great help
What's great about it: Maximized return with extra IRA deduction

I've been using TurboTax for years. The step by step process is very thorough and allows you to be very confident that your tax return is complete and accurate.

Very Good, One Major Disappointment

I bought a new computer a few months ago and copied my 2012 Turbo Tax file to the new computer. Turbo Tax 2013 found the file, imported the information, but the information from 2012 somehow couldn't be used to prepopulate my 2013 return. Lots of time spent online trying to find a solution. Your website was of no help. Lots of wasted hours until I finally gave up and had to enter my entire family's personal info, and other info, all by hand.

What's great about it: Simple, easy steps. Loved imported from my financial institution
What's not so great: Big Con: copied last year's Turbo Tax file to my new computer, but the info could not be imported for 2013 return
