If you didn't know you might owe estimated taxes

I found this turbo tax 2013 more difficult to use - perhaps because I changed computers but I did bring over all the old files - it didn't seem to import much from my old 2012 return. It really was not helpful - not even your site was helpful in addressing estimated taxes for 2014
What's great about it: basic taxes okay
What's not so great: nothing about estimated taxes for 2014
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

Really disciplined me to find all the accurate information for deductions. The Turbo Tax formula to claim miles driven for a job was radically different from the way I track my non-reimbursed mileage. Tried 4 times to e-file, never succeeded, had to print and mail return.
What's great about it: All saved electronically, and checked for accuracy step by step
What's not so great: Pretty clunky, took me longer than manual, hopefully only because it was 1st try.

Should rephrase that - Have to pay to efile the state return - so I don't understand why you say it is free every year?

Natalie was SO congenial, i NEVER felt rushed, or a burden! EVERYTHING went so smoothly, it was almost as if she was sitting in the room with me. i have always HATED chat help, but not only was it a pleasant experience (despite the fact i owed federal and state returns, and it took longer-being a chat vs. live person, etc), but she went FAR ABOVE AND BEYOND to not only be one of THE most sincerely competent, kind, CHEERFUL and generous customer service reps i've ever experienced (and i am one to use discretion and prudence rather than exaggeration), but she represented your company VERY WELL, making me want to continue in the future with you if and whenever possible. it was an honor to be served by her. i wish there was more i could do to say, 'thank you.' please honor her:}
What's great about it: BEST customer service via chat in my WHOLE LIFE! :}
What's not so great: took more time

Love Turbo Tax but Self Employment Lacking

I have had trouble for the past 3yrs on getting to the point where I enter Self Employment estimated Tax paid. It used to be direct and straight forward, now it is hard to find, I have to do searches and even go to form view. Something changed.
I believe the whole Self Employment section should be reviewed for ease of use; your standard 1040 step by step is awesome. Entry of estimated SE Taxes actually paid, vehicle recording (especially if you trade in a vehicle and replace it .. I spent more time on this then I did the entire filing!), and IRA contributions .. why can't I go there quickly?

What's not so great: Step by Step misses - can't get back to adjust something

I was nervous to do our taxes, as we had a few changes this past year. But, Turbo Tax really walked me through everything I needed to do. Thank-you so much!!!!!!!!
