Very user friendly

TurboTax makes it easy for me to pay my taxes. I am divorced, and my husband always paid our taxes for us. Now TurboTax allows me to feel independent and confident.
What's great about it: Straight-forward, Easy to understand

I'm not as smart as I thought I was!

TurboTax told me I had an error on a 1099. I checked. No error. Checked for errors, TurboTax said same error. Tried to e-file, same error. Couldn't e-file. Finally I realized that I had transposed two numbers in box1 and not box 2a. TurboTax prevented this dyslectic from submitting an erroneous return even when I tried to bypass the error. Who ever programmed this is fantastic!

BEST REFUND EVER

Worth every penny and then some, I've been using Turbo Tax for the past 8 years to do my taxes and it's just awesome. It's Incredibly inexpensive, but just as good as having your own tax preparer. I will use Turbo Tax til I die - unless I become a millionaire and then my assistant can use Turbo Tax for me! LOL
What's great about it: QUICK, EASY AND ACCURATE
What's not so great: NONE
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Never disappoints

I have used TurboTax for at least 6 years and have never had a problem. I'm confident that all my deductions and credits are included, and that I'm using the most current forms. I also use the state form and the fact that all my pertinent federal info is already entered for me is a big time saver and guarantees accuracy. And, of course, the efile feature means I get my refund ASAP. What's not to like?
What's great about it: Easy to use, intuitive
What's not so great: Nothing that I can think of

Seemed easier this year. One little suggestion for improvement: my spouse had professional dues to pay, and it was tough finding where to include these expenses, and whether or not they even counted toward deduction.
What's great about it: comprehensive
What's not so great: needed more "did this last year" memory
