Deluxe works very well for us, especially after several years of use; loading preceding years info cuts a lot of time. Standard W2 wages, charitable contributions, mortgage interest, etc., rolls through very well. Only disappointment for us was that it did not handle dividends put in our children's trust. Form 1041 was needed, I believe, which is only available in the higher level TurboTax which, it turns out, is not available on Mac. All editions should be made for Mac.
What's great about it: Questions that lead you through.
What's not so great: Deluxe couldn't handle our kids Trust account; had to file separately.

Generally a good program

I have been using Turbo Tax for the past 15 or so years. Program is generally good for Fed returns. But your pricing and the quality of your state returns is pretty BAD. As a consultant, I work in several different states and filing returns in each is a burden.... If your pricing policies and product quality were any where near reasonable, I would choose to have you do it.... But once you have a federal 1040, doing the individual states (can be 5 different states) is not worth your charges
What's great about it: Relatively easy and Fast
What's not so great: You State returns are poorly written and way overpriced

I have used Turbo Tax Deluxe for years and it works well for me but latest version has less help it seems and so have to go to IRS web site for some answers.
What's great about it: Quick, thorough, complete
What's not so great: getting answers to questions no so easy

A must if you have no complicated finances although no issues with dividends, etc. Seems there is less of an auto assist this year..I had to search for item information.

Have been useing Turbo Tax since it was available back during the land of OZ. Great buy and great program for all to use.
