I am having trouble getting an Icon on my desktop that will simply allow me to open up my 2013 return. In the past I could double click on the icon and the final tax form would come up. Today and yesterday it doesn't want to do that.

I found this software very user-friendly. I've never done my own taxes before and TurboTax does a nice job walking a new user through one step at a time.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Disappointed in this years performance

I don't think I have had as much trouble in all my years of using Turbo Tax and I have used them since 2003 simply for the convenience on the transfer of information. Next year I may have to bite the bullet and download the free stuff and reenter all information.
What's great about it: I don't have to re-enter my information from year to year
What's not so great: Had to continue to restart my computer to get it to transmit federal

That Was Easy

I find that Turbotax gets easier to use each year. Hopefully, the program knows what part of my 403b pension plan distribution is taxable by NJ because I don't believe that NJ itself knows (I paid NJ income tax on my contributions for 15 years).
What's great about it: easy, thorough, and user-friendly program
What's not so great: couldn't obtain copy of my prior year return from Turbotax after my pc crashed
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I had a small problem with e-filing. Even after I did updates, Turbo Tax kept telling me I couldn't e-file my return because updates were required.
While I did need the updates initially, it turned out the real problem was because I had asked for my refund to be deposited to a savings account, but the account number I had provided was for a checking account. Once I fixed this, my federal return went right thru. Overall, I'll definitely use turbo tax again.

I have used Turbo Tax for the last 6or7 years, i fully depend on Turbo Tax.
