Boardering on Bait & Switch

The Federal portion of the program works well, albeit slowly. I was disappointed there was no indication I would be required to make estimated payments for 2014 until I printed the Federal return.
Including tax tables (for income and sales taxes) for Federal and State would save the time it took me to find these on the IRS websites. The Sales Tax vs. State Income Tax deduction section of the Federal doesn't provide the relevant information needed to make the decision of which deduction to take.
What's great about it: Relative ease of use
What's not so great: Deluxe version "includes" a State Return, but not EFile of same

Lots of help

Newly married and needed to determine MFS vs. MFJ with wife having to file in two different states. With a fair amount of help from the TurboTax Help Center on multiple occasions, I was able to finally complete that determination and am ready to file.
What's great about it: Easy to reach help
What's not so great: Our current tax situation made handling in TurboTax a bit more difficult than I expected.
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

I love this program. It is very easy to use. It's easy to navigate around the tax forms. Customer support is great. I ran into a problem with e-filing and the answer was immediately available and worked.

The checking and rechecking until you get it right is a great feature.
What's great about it: I had great tech support when ever I needed
What's not so great: Initially some what difficult for retired people with 1099Rs

Great program, but it wouldn't let me e-File

We have been using TurboTax Deluxe for several years. It is great because it preserves information from previous years, including EIN numbers for schools/preschools, all personal information, business EIN numbers, etc. so we never have to re-enter all of that information. I was able to do all of my taxes in just a couple of hours, including K-1, 1099s, 1098s, W2s, itemized deductions, etc. However, I tried several times to e-File my federal return, and each time got an error saying I needed to download an update before I could file. I downloaded updates at least 3 times, and still got the same errors. So, now I am left with printing about 60 pages in tax returns and going to wait in line at the post office. This has not happened in previous years, and was very disappointing this year.
What's great about it: Straightforward and easy to use; pulls information from last year
What's not so great: Wouldn't let me e-File even after I downloaded updates.

Overall, a good experience I would use it again.
What's great about it: Gathered and Combined Info. easily
What's not so great: exceptions are a little clunky.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2013 Tax Return Review

Installed TT and it worked great. Automatic updates on startup useful. Taking me back to where I left off helpful. Automatic entry on data from previous year was a time saver. Also seeing previous year's values as compared to current year's showed where finances were going.
Great product. Improves every year. A bit apprehensive about 2014 health care tax and information but I know TT will handle it to my satisfaction.
Keep up the great work!
