Big error by Turbo Tax

For some reason, TurboTax replaced the correct social number on a new return I was working on with a different and incorrect SSN that it seems to have picked up from a different return I had also worked on. Luckily, I caught this totally unexpected and unacceptable error.
This 2013 version is the first time I have had so many problems with TurboTax. It is not up the standards of prior versions.

What's great about it: Hopefully filled in the tax forms correctly
What's not so great: Mysteriously inserted wrong social security number
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Couldn't be easier

I have used TurboTax for several years. This year's version seemed easier to use and contained great instructions. Thank you for making it so user-friendly.

Lots of problems

In three instances the infomation shown on the ez forms did not match what was on the acutal 1040 form. This made it necessary to spend a lot of time going online to find out if there was truly a problem or just a glitch in what was being displayed. In some instances the online responses seemed to indicate that the problem had been around for years and not corrected.
I think that the software is really terrible. I keep trying to find another program but it seems that Intuit has bought up the other folks doing this kind of software.
What's great about it: It seems to add, subtract, multiply and divide quite accurately
What's not so great: Many many glitches in the software.

Been using long time, But needs improvement

I've been using turbo tax for years. The overall design has kept me coming back. But, there is room for improvement.
First, after one has entered the information for one topic, say a specific w-2, or 1099, and then later you want to review the information you entered (to make sure it is correct) you must re-answer the same questions over again. the program knows my previous answer, why must I go thru again?

The state programs, Kansas and Missouri, have never been as well designed. The descriptions for requested information leave much to be desired at times.
I suppose I will continue to use turbo tax, because it will import last years info, but there is much that could be improved.
What's great about it: Includes all the forms
What's not so great: Interview based design makes it difficult to review topics
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Once Again - Easy to Use

I've been using Turbo Tax for perhaps the last 10 years. It is so much better than going through the calculations by hand. In the last few years, I especially appreciate the download feature for the sales transactions from a brokerage account. It is also very helpful to see the line up of both current and last year's income and deductions. And speaking of the previous year, the importing of the personal information (plus keeping track of investment losses that can be carried forward) is really great.
What's great about it: Definitely like the ability to import transactions from brokerage firm.
What's not so great: I would have liked to see a comparison of my total itemized deductions vs. the standard deduction.

Excellent!

As usual, completing my taxes this year was easy. The right questions were always asked. Even when I had an unusual question, I was able to get it answered by going to the "expert" answers already given to others on the Web. I will do it again next year.
What's great about it: Ease & completeness of entries
What's not so great: None
