I have always liked the Turbo Tax approach to filing tax returns. I sometimes have trouble finding specific spots for making changes.

Turbo Tax - Federal and State Returns

AOC did not get finalized until final review process which required a few more answers to complete the form.
LA State Return did not reflect FL Retirement System excluded income on the designated line and had to be added as "other" and described accordingly.

What's great about it: Overall structure of input process with option to do it yourself
What's not so great: Some deductions not taken until final review process
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

Two Weaknesses with TurboTax 2013

Great, except for:
TurboTax doesn't make it CLEAR that it used Itemized or STANDARD Deduction - s/b very clear. I need to know it for my GA Return.
After I Online Filed By FED Return, it asked How I wanted to Pay my Taxes due - I selected Debit My Checking Acct on 4-14-15. Looks like it took, but I can't find how to VERIFY that it did - I don't see anything recorded about it in TurboTax!

Overall it's an easy way to prepare and file and also a good deal to get the audit defense option as i recently found

I've used TurboTax for many years and have tried competing products as well. TurboTax beats them in every dimension.

I have used turbotax for years and really appreciate the ease of use the program provides. I wouldn't use anyuthing else.

Have used Turbo tax for over 10 years and have no plans to change in the future. I like the ease of filing and trust the calculations, even when I have taxes due!
What's great about it: Ease of use and easy to understand. When in doubt there is an explanation available.
What's not so great: Should provide options for deducting fees from any refund source
