I have been using turbo tax for years, and it keeps great track of everything for me. However some of the information requested is not clear, and I have to look at the actual tax forms to see what exactly is going on. It is great that the forms are easily accessible. Thank you
What's great about it: Neat and keeps good track of everything
What's not so great: prints out too many extra pages

TurboTax is confusing; it used to be better

Ok, guys, we are old customers, have been using Turbo Tax for years; what we've noticed, the guidelines and explanation pop-ups get more convoluted, unclear, etc. Lots of things we have to dig up on the net or guess... But it used to have very well-written explanations! What happened?... Specifically, as NJ residents and PA employees, we needed to return both PA state and Philadelphia city taxes in NJ tax return, and there was no guidelines, instructions whatsoever regardless the fact that Turbo Tax 'knew' that we paid both... We had to look up some forums, including Turbo Tax customer support where a bunch of people had the same problem and eventually found the answer, but it should be in the software... Please make it more user friendly!
What's great about it: Still one of the best options to file taxes
What's not so great: Explanations are twisted, no thorough guidlines
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Your 2013 Changes to Tubro Tax Deluxe

- Can't see the detail of brokerage downloads for review very easily.... the full description is not visible. E.g. stock sale. I had to change the description by shortening it to see the full description.
- Not as easy to make changes as in previous years to brokerage consolidated statement downloads.
- No option to just print my return. I have to take the option to review it and then print from the displayed review.

Easy as Can Be

I'm always amazed and how easily and quickly I can do my return using TurboTax. Granted, my return has few if any complications and is very straightforward, but I enjoy doing it myself and have the confidence that it accurate. A stress remover!
What's great about it: An easy and understandable return.
What's not so great: None that I can think of

Great program but could you make one change please

I wish when I am walking through each section of the income/deductions, the 'done with income (or whatever)' was at the top of the page.
What's great about it: Easy to use; I don't have to wonder what forms I need to complete because the program does it for me based on responses.
What's not so great: moving through each section can be tedious.

Questions on how to complete parts of my state returns were never adequately answered. I ended up having to research these directly outside of Turbo Tax

this is my 5th year on turbo tax. no more difficult or time consuming than gathering up all my documents and completing my tax accountant's forms. Much cheaper and more efficient!
