I found 2014 to be less user friendly. I have used Turbo Tax for several years.

It did its usual good job. I would like ongoing updates to total income and total deductions. I would also like an explicit calculation of taxes showing base amount time tax rate for the various items.

I have used Turbo Tax for years. At first I just did it to check my work. As my taxes got more involved I had to depend on Turbo Tax to make sure everything was in its proper place and all the correct forms were completed. The e-filing is wonderful and if it makes the receiving revenue service happy I am glad.
What's great about it: Everything is so detailed and neat.
What's not so great: Sometimes hard to get back to where you want to make a change.

Awesome experience

We've been using Turbo Tax for many years and have never had any difficulty filing. Never been audited and feel returns are complete and will not be audited. We've recommended the program to many family and friends and will continue to do so.
What's great about it: Step-by-step questions make filing so complete and easy
What's not so great: Always painful to see what I earned last year and what I saved (or didn't!)

Very Good, not perfect

Excellent, except:
Bringing forward previous year's Interest and Dividend payers is not clear. Clicking EDIT takes you to a screen to choose the payer from a list where the payer does not exist, and it is not obvious that you have to choose Manually Enter to get to the next screen where the name is brought across from the previous year.
Also, the print function should allow printing a file copy of what is mailed without the extra copy all of the instructions, "thank you", etc. that aren't mailed anyway. Who needs 2 copies??
