I love it!

I have used TT for over 10 years and never had a problem. It makes an otherwise outrageous chore fairly simple. It seems to get easier to use every year.
What's great about it: Easy step by step features. Calculates as you go.
What's not so great: None

I accidentally started an online return in 2012, More than a year later I am still getting notices to finish my return. I can't delete it or turn it off.
Hard to navigate to your own account without seeing sales hype on the way.

What's not so great: Can't manage some aspects, Hard to navigate past the hype to find what you need.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Excellent Tax Preparation

Very satisfied with the product. I have been using it for over 5 years and plan on continuing to use it in the future.
Maybe the charge for electronic filing of the state returns could be lessened and included in the basic charge of the product at least for one state.
What's great about it: Easy to use, automatic transfer of information from previuos year a BIG plus
What's not so great: Wish the charge for electronic filing for state returns was less.

Worst Version Yet

I have used TurboTax since 2000, but this year seemed like the worst version so far. In their attempts to make it easier for non accountants, I have found that in the last several years it has actually become more difficult to navigate the screens, escape from areas you didn't want to be in, and change certain choices later.
But the biggest problem is in the help function. It used to be easy to go to the help function and get access to more comprehensive explanations and IRS publications. This version likes to take you to a screen where people post answers and I usually wound up Googling the IRS publications (at least there were references to the IRS Pubs). The old help information was much better and easier to access, in my opinion.
What's great about it: Good Graphics
What's not so great: Trying to dumb it down for non accountants makes it harder to figure out where you are.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I think some work needs to be done on Schedule F.

I have been a fan of Turbo Tax since 1991, almost before computers!!! I can still remember doing my taxes then, and how easy, in layman terms, no one could be a bigger fan than me! Thank you Turbo Tax, for making a daunting task, actually FUN!
