Found mistakes for 1st time

In reviewing my taxes, I saw big discrepancy with the taxes due for my state return. I digging deep, I found somehow wrong codes were applied to some of my 1099G entries and had to manually change them. I believe I made the entries properly and some were downloaded from originating site.

Sooo comfortable!!

TurboTax makes filing a Federal and State return stressless and simple. We have been using it for years and it never fails to provide us with a pain free way of completing our tax returns. We have never felt a need to use any other product.
What's great about it: Guided process is very easy and intuitive.
What's not so great: Nothing! Every year the process is painless.

Quick and easy

Background: I'm a retiree with investment income and a homeowner.
Importing info from last year's return worked flawlessly (I'm a long time TT user), as did importing my various 1099s. The flow of tax questions was comprehensive, while making it simple to bypass sections that weren't applicable to my situation. Although, as I said, I'm a long time TT user, everything seemed easier this year. Even though I had investment income, I opted for the less expensive Deluxe version which did everything I needed, although my investments are not complex (mutual funds). I also opted for the downloaded software. $20 more for the online version doesn't seem worth it to me.
Bottom line: very satisfied.
What's great about it: good, efficient workflow

It Works and Saves

The Turbo Tax process beats the pen and paper route in terms of ease and efficiency hands down. The TT information guides and instructional support beat the voluminous fed and state regs that otherwise would have to be digested. TT's reassurance of accuracy and validity of reporting is a real benefit. It works, and it saves me money. It's a winner at tax time!
What's great about it: Turbo Tax does the job in a minimum of time and maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
What's not so great: Turbo Tax's process is one of those rare instances where problems don't leap to mind.

After 10 years TurboTax is still the best!

This will be my 10th year using TurboTax to complete my federal and state taxes. I've been audited once and cleared that audit with absolutely no problem. The problem was not with TurboTax but with bad income reporting by my broker at the time.
I will continue to use TurboTax in the future with absolutely no misgivings at all.
What's great about it: I've gotten used to the questions and expect them!
What's not so great: Need to better set up on line payment for any desired extras.

Software was easy to download and use, and electronic filing is the way to go to keep paper to a minimum.
What's great about it: Software worked like a champ!

Painless Paperwork!

Don't have any complaints about the way this product guides you through the process. I used to wade through the tax guides and paperwork. I used to dread tax time and would be in a bad mood until it was done. Now, I collect all my documents and follow the questions in the Turbo Tax segments and before I know it, it's done.
What's great about it: Love the guides and questions that help you decide what to enter.
