Confusion at the end

It took me a while to realize I had to save the file before I could open it and see every page. There should have one paragraph saying " if you want to review, "save" the file and then open it for review"...It might have said that, but I missed it...
What's great about it: Easy to follow and fill in info or download
What's not so great: At the end it wasn't clear how I could review page by page

Old Dog, New Tricks

I've done my own paper returns for all of my 78 years until I tried Turbo Tax last year. I'm not the swiftest with the computer, but I found making the entries easy and would recommend Turbo Tax to even the most uneasy senior on the computer.
What's great about it: easy entries and explanations
What's not so great: didn't support Maryland community investment tax credit

Taxes Done Easy

I have been using Turbo Tax since Personnel Tax Edge. Never a problem, all you have to do is follow the easy interview.
What's great about it: Easy to use, just follow directions
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Worth the cost

I had one question for which I could not get an answer. In the long-run it probably didn't matter, but it didn't feel right. Actually let me explain: For the Senior Circuit Breaker discount ie., the first condition was if you were at least 65 y/o before Jan. 2014. I was, so when I clicked on the Start button, it came back and said "you do not qualify". I tried to search for an explanation and could find nothing. My interpretation was that there were other circumstances in my info that disqualified me, but the way it appeared seemed to be responding to the age question....wish it had been easy to find an explanation.
What's great about it: Retains info from prev. year & transfers easily; really does walk you through all phases

Turbo Tax 2013 Deluxe not as good as previous year

Overall this year's Turbo Tax was about average, which is disappointing when compared with our previous experience with this product. The entry boxes were very difficult to recognize on our 20 " ViewSonic LED display. Some of the instructions were too vague forcing us to repeat several steps. The grammar used in the detailed information was often very pedantic. The one error the program encountered ( having to do with our 2010 home refinance ) simply could not be resolved. So, we ignored it. That is troubling for such an important software.
What's great about it: Quick calculations, thorough research, good information, good advice
What's not so great: Fair to poor grammar maing some instructions difficult to follow, entry boxes lacked good contrast with background,
