Note when opening the medical expenses

In regard to using "Turbo Tax Federal," in filling out the Federal Tax catagories-
When opening the medical expenses portion of Deductions, add a NOTICE, that based on your gross income wages, tips, etc), your medical expenses have to exceed ( give the dollar amount or the percentage of the gross) in order to meet the threshold to reduce your taxes. Every year I waste many hours figuring up medical expenses (doctor trips, co-pays, prescription drug costs, travel, etc) only to find out I did not meet the threshold.

It saved me money

I have used Turbo Tax for several years with no problems with the IRA. The instructions are clear and they make it easy to do my taxes, Yes I would advise a Friend to use Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Easy to do and is accurate. Questions are easy to find and helpful.
What's not so great: I am not able to put all the calculations and items on a disc.

What's great about it: Even I could do it!!!
What's not so great: Had a little trouble down loading after I bought it but I called the help desk and they took me through it step by step.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Not always a Refund

It may be over sold the idea of a tax refund. What most people want is the ease and convience of automating our tax submissions. We want accurancy and the reason why questions are presented to us. In the final end we are looking for good results and our taxes, even without a refund, are complete and ready to be submitted. Thanks TurboTax. TurboTax provides those answers to our questions and it leads us through the process and does not miss the the correct questions.,
What's great about it: I have never had a problem or inaccurate totals from TurboTax.
What's not so great: HSA purpose and function is not detailed enough.

Crash Crash Crash

TurboTax locked up my PC 7-8 times in the course of doing my taxes, requiring hard reboots. I haven't been having any other problems, and have never had this problem with TurboTax before. I could have been finished a half hour sooner if I hadn't had to reboot so many times. Please clean this up in the future
What's great about it: Got a good refund, still easy to use as always
What's not so great: Program was BUGGY!

Smooth and easy!

Much easier than I thought it would be. I liked the constant updates on both federal and state refunds as I went through it.
What's great about it: Walks you through every step.
What's not so great: None

Fantastic product!

We have used TurboTax for over 10 years and will not use any other product-EVER! Twice we tried another product as well as a CPA, and we got a better return with TurboTax!
What's great about it: Super easy to use!
What's not so great: None!
