My TurboTax 2013 Experience

I noticed quite a few user-interface improvements as well.
I was pretty impressed overall, especially in its ability to maximize our ability gain as much refund as we should get. Considering how compex the IRS codes are, I felt that although complexity is not apparent, as a user I could still sense how important certain data were.
What's great about it: Improved in Clarity even though there were quite a few things that were new in 2013

Dealing with the IRS should always be this easy!

We had to enter our own data, even after it imported our personal info from 2012 it kept asking us to enter dollar amounts, and names and dates, then check boxes and stuff, only kidding! We have been using TT for several years now and it gets easier and faster every year. Learned over the years to keep everything that could relate to filing in a large mania envelope in the front of our file cabinet.
The only way filing could be easier is if the program could read our minds, or we didn't have to fill at all.

As usual, the data transfer and step by step process made a complicated situation straight forward and easy to complete.
What's great about it: Straightforward, uncomplicated filing of complicated taxes

Didn't ask enough questions about refund; asked if I wanted direct deposit or check. My answer is neither. It should be credited to taxes I owe for prior year.

What's not so great: better the second year

I tried to do e file but it absolutely refused to send it out. I even did the upgrade it requested and still, nothing. I had to do it by mail.
What's great about it: Fast & easy
What's not so great: Wont update software

I will continue to use it for years to come!!!
What's great about it: I feel good after using it.
What's not so great: The search doesn't always find things. For example I searched on "AGI" and "Adjusted Gross Income" and found nothing.
