Organized Process

Have used TurboTax for over 10 years - use to prepare returns for CPA firm several more years ago and have enjoyed (hard to believe) the tax completion process provided by TurboTax. Keeps me organized and high degree of confidence in the completeness of the returns.
What's great about it: Always well structured process leading user through all items affecting returns
What's not so great: None noted
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

The program was well priced, very easy to understand, and to follow. Highly recommend this program to everyone.
What's great about it: Great, easy program. Questions were simple to understand
What's not so great: Everything was good, no complaints.

Turbo tax was easy to follow and made doing taxes a snap. The only thing we did not like was paying for the state E-file. When we were tired of doing our taxes it was also easy to save for the next day. It is a user friendly system.
What's great about it: good explanations of steps easy to follow
What's not so great: had to pay for the MI refund

I was also confused when I had TurboTax import my 1099-DIV and it imported all the forms from that company, but I didn't know that. And when the software didn't ask me about the 1099-B's I had to poke around and find you already had them.
What's great about it: Accurate
What's not so great: I was confused about how to submit state tax on paper, after e-filing federal tax.

TurboTax has been our choice of software for many years. Never thought about trying an alternative. Would never again attempt preparing return(s) without software.
THNX for offering a product worthy of return purchasing year-after-year.
What's great about it: mostly self explanatory
What's not so great: some problems going to source of items needed to be "fixed"

Refund Made Easy!

It was very helpful that information like personal info, dependents, employers, bank accounts, charities, etc. were prefilled from the prior year return. This is the first time I downloaded our W2's and it was very fast and easy. Errors caught helped me quickly identify where I needed to make corrections. Each year that I use TurboTax I find more and more improvements that make tax time less stressful.
What's great about it: Fast downloads of W2 and Bank data saved me lots of time.
What's not so great: College expense deductions were confusing.
