Rocked my refund

Turbo tax made it very easy and did a great job calculating my taxes!
What's great about it: Very easy
What's not so great: nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2013 Refund

All in all it was okay and easy, one glitch is I was unsure on my adult child and weather I should claim him...

I have used this for the last three years and have been pleased all three times. I always finish feeling confident that my taxes were done correctly, with no errors and the maximum refund. I would always recommend turbo tax.

Overall, i use turbo tax every year, and every year it gets easier and easier. Love it!
What's great about it: Simple, Fast, and Easy.
What's not so great: Having to deal with Taxes. (not turbo taxes fault)

Watch Tuition Credits

After entering all data in the student worksheet, the program appears to subtract $10,000 the allowable amount used for the various other tuition program credits. It also subtracted this form the tuition I paid even though I do not qualify for any of the credits. I noticed this on "other income" of the first page of the 1040. I was paying interest on the qualified tuition program gains, even though the amount of tuition I paid was well over the distributions for the program (TEP) . For some reason, tubotax subtracted $10,000 from the tuition paid. As a result I had a partial unqualified withdrawal and had to pay taxes on the TEP dividends. I had to go back and correct this in the worksheet.
What's great about it: Importing last years data was better
What's not so great: Appear to be some glitches in the student tutition work sheet.

Good tax produce

I was not able to e-file either state or federal! There was an error message to download updates but there were no updates to download!
What's great about it: easy to use and setup
What's not so great: e-file would not work
