Turbo Tax is for the most part really easy to use and I've never had any trouble mailing in my return. I know, e-filing is the preferred method but I have always mailed in my returns and still want to. This is the first year that Intuit has not provided a direct print routine to print the federal and state returns. Now we must save them to a PDF file and then print the returns. This extra step is not necessary and I suspect that Intuit is attempting to encourage e-filing. Just let me print the return (please) and mail it in myself. Thanks.
What's not so great: Print routine change is not acceptable.

Good reputation; easy to use; very thorough (however, a lot of requests for information that was not applicable to me); gave good, clear explanations of everything.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I consider it a step by step approach, I don't get nervous looking at the "forest" I just work on the" trees".
What's great about it: Helped me with my Schedule D

Was able to import W2 information from payroll company. Questions were straightforward and easy to understand. Help section was more helpful than the irs.gov website's help section. Turbo Tax has gotten more user friendly over the years.

What's great about it: Covers things in easy steps
What's not so great: Work out of home office at convenience of employer - very hard to figure out how to do this with Turbotax basic.
