I've been using TurboTax for many years and have been completely satisfied with it. It handles even my more complex situations.
What's great about it: Handles almost every tax situation that I have.
What's not so great: Sometimes a bit hard to navigate.

It says for itself that I have been using TT since early DOS days.
I thought that navigation was getting more difficult untill I discovered the FLAG scheme.
I wished that the summary pages could be printed, eg, Dividend Income Summary listed by Payer.
You should add "Retired" life style.
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

How to Improve

I am self employed and my husband has a straight job as well as making freelance money. We were confused where to put travel expenses. The per diem was not built into the software. It should be. I had to ballpark it for the return, so I tried to undershoot it unfortunately. He was traveling out of the country, so it was not very clear how to input that: whether to separate out sirfare and hotels or what.
Also, when inputing certain freelance 1099's, it appears that there are several places to put that info or at least it asks about those several times. I don't think we repeated amounts, but I'm not 100% certain. The help button only takes you to discussions. I was hoping there would be a number to call for more definite help.
What's great about it: easy and affordable way to do your taxes
What's not so great: Sometimes I'm not sure where to put things correctly

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years. Each year I find it easier and easier.
What's great about it: Questions and Help boxes that prompt me to know what to look for and enter into each section.
What's not so great: If I have questions, I don't like having to take time to call and pay to get help.

Easy way to refund.

Turbo Tax is the quickest and easiest way to file taxes. E-File eliminates the tedious task of getting postage and waiting longer for your refund.
What's great about it: Quick and easy
What's not so great: A lot of updating.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
