Turbo tax good if your return is very simple. I don't know if I would recommend using if your return is complicated.
What's great about it: Easy to follow. Calculations quick. State download very fast.
What's not so great: Made an error on Fed Return which carried over to State. When corrected on Fed return, not reflected on State.

Excellent product, wish I had decided to try it before now! Very clear, & helpful.
What's great about it: easy to use, clear and concise
What's not so great: wish there was a phone number to talk to a human vs. the computer search posted up front under the help button
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2013 Tax Program

Overall after having used TT for over 15 years now, it seems to be getting easyer every year. All questions are straight forward and the hardest job is gathering the accurate data to fill in the blanks............No guess work as to what information goes where or what information is needed.
Every year we brouse thru the Turbo Tax program before we start just to see what is new and what is needed. Gather it up as we have time and update the info in the computer. That's all there is to it!

What's great about it: A child could easily make out your tax filing

Thank you so much Turbo Tax. I filed using Turbo Tax for the first time in 2013. I was so excited about using it again. The process is painless. Looking forward to next year!

It used to take me weeks to compile the data, make a pencil version, and then redo the forms in ink. With TurboTax I can do it all in a few hours.

Differences in terminology of receipt items from TurboTax & IRS and English make for exercise in language skills over simple math. Yet I was able to complete and file without filing for an extension. Thus I can shred my clutter six months sooner. Viva la neatness and PC retention.
What's great about it: Click & Copy from last year & review dif
What's not so great: When will simplicity be enacted
