Need to fix bugs

I have used TT for many years except 2012 due to the poor reviews I read about TT when using a MacBook. I decided to give them another try, hoping the issues had been resolved. All went well until I tried to file, then my submission kept being rejected (TT said I need to update TT, but I had already done it) After 2 hours of monkeying around, I finally found a solution and got my submission to go through. TT, please work out the Mac issues for 2014. I will wait to see the reviews next year before I purchase again.

What's not so great: hard to find solutions for problems

Easy and efficient

As usual, TurboTax is the easy way to file taxes. One small problem this year was a government form that had to be uploaded, but TurboTax insisted that it wasn't ready - it was, but the computer had to be rebooted in order for TurboTax to find it. A continuing annoyance is that an attempt to go back and change or check an input requires doing an entire section over again - TurboTax requires reentry of data into the pages preceding the one that I wanted to check. In spite of these minor annoyances, it is still the tax preparation software of choice.
What's great about it: Running totals, relevant Q and A
What's not so great: Not easy to make changes without starting a section all over again

Tried twice to change my password for INTUIT. Neither worked. Paid the state filing fee as a non-registered user.

I have been using TurboTax for many years, and have always been satisfied with it's operation, accuracy and ease of use. I always use the self guided method. It ensures I have gotten maximum value.
What's great about it: ease of use, accuracy.

Couldn't have done it without Turbotax

No problems with the federal return. State return (Alabama) instructions were weak - there were some misspellings, help information was not clear. This was not the situation in past years(I have been using Turbotax for at least 17 years). The last two years I noticed a decline in your programming and attention to detail on the state level.
What's great about it: fed return well done
What's not so great: state return was weak
