Very easy to use, simple, straight forward

9.5 out of 10! I use turbo tax and recommend it to all. It was especially helpful with the 1099G info. I contacted the FTB who told me it was for unemployment payments (which i never collected?!) and turbo tax informed me it was the amount of my state tax return from previous years.

What's great about it: It was easy and walked me through step by step
What's not so great: Having to buy turbo tax plus to support exiling my state return this year. Have not had to do that in previous years
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

simple program. I used another tax site to compare returns, turbotax got me $400 more!
What's great about it: explains everything!
What's not so great: some phrasology a little tough at first.

It is not clear that the company retirement is "qualified" or "not qualified" and the question either wasn't there in the past years or was asked differently this year. Frankly I'm still confused.
What's great about it: straight forward approach
What's not so great: not all explanations clear

I just love the way it takes the very difficult job of filing taxes, and makes it manageable for everyone.
What's great about it: See easy, yet thorough.
What's not so great: None!

What's great about it: I've always been impressed with Turbo Tax, year after year they'd made my life easier at tax time!!

So much easier to file taxes when the program remembers info from last year. It took less than 2 hours.
