TurboTax should give you option on importing information. from prior years. TurboTax imported business info this year for a business I no longer own. It was sooooooooooo hard to get it off the return. Luckily, people on Internet knew bks TurboTax was not about to share that information, at least not without charging a fee (as if I hadn't already paid for TurboTax CD)

What's great about it: ease of use
What's not so great: when information imported from last year is no longer applicable, getting rid of it is nearly impossible.

There were refund opportunities that I never would have found on my own! I was skeptical about these refunds, but after researching each one, I found they were legitimate.
What's great about it: There were refund opportunities that I never would have found without TurboTax!
What's not so great: I thought I'd bought a TurboTax that included the state filing cost. It was a shock to find out differently.

Problem with Voucher Printing

We print our returns on 2 sides to streamline for filing. Estimated tax vouchers are printing back to back making them unusable. There should be a way to get our vouchers to come through printed on only one side without going back through the program to find the forms to print them one at a time. Also, they should be able to be printed 2 per page.
What's great about it: good and thorough walkthrough
What's not so great: Estimated tax vouchers print back to back or only 1 per page wasting paper and effort

Introduced friends to doing their own taxes

I have used this product for years. I have always done my family's taxes but I now have taught friends how easy it is to do taxes.
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: Can't easily print state taxes separately

Step-By-Step Hand Holding Was Excellent!

I've used Turbo Tax for over 10 years now and I've always been very pleased with how easy it is to use. I love that I can e-file and get feedback quickly on whether my return was received. This year was my most difficult year using turbo tax; when filling in information about being a business owner, I had a hard time figuring out my status and the "community" was not helpful, my questions went unanswered, and I had to figure it out on my own. This was incredibly time consuming and frustrating. However, Turbo Tax made up for it by walking me through making corrections to my returns when they were rejected after I e-filed and helped me re-file without charging me a second time. I am a Turbo Tax fan and will continue to use/recommend this product.
What's great about it: Walked me through my returns step-by-step
What's not so great: I needed more direction with business owner forms
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
