This years Turbo Tax was a breeze to use. It was very well developed and through in all aspects. The questions were straight forward and very self-explanatory.

Disappointed in the end

Everything went relatively smoothly until I attempted to e-file my returns. I was unable to do so and got a message that there was an update available for my program that had to be downloaded first. I did that - five times - and after each time I got the same message. So, I finally gave up and filed by mail. But, I had already paid the fee for e-filing my state return. Figuring out how to get a refund was not easy. None of the FAQs on the Help forum helped and finding a way to talk to a human being was, I believe, deliberately made difficult by TT. However, after spending an inordinate amount of time, I was finally able to do so, with prompt results. But I was never able to e-file and wasted much time trying to do so.
What's great about it: Some streamlining from previous versions

I hate filing taxes, but Turbo Tax makes filing easy. Covers everything by asking simple questions, explains if you don't understand, and reviews to see if you missed anything.
What's great about it: Easy to use, covers everything.

Excellent program that fills all my tax needs.
What's great about it: Seems to cover all my deductions very clearly.
What's not so great: This year did not update automatically for forms.
