Minor confusions.

At first, I entered where I purchased my current Turbo Tax. Then, when listing expenses, I'm asked about the purchase of Turbo Tax I made during the 2013 tax year. (Confusing, and it doesn't qualify to deduct.# I found myself confused when listing reimbursed educational expenses which effect more than one category #expense & income.) The fees to e-file my state return requires auto-deposit information even after I chose to receive a check rather than auto-deposit.
What's great about it: Step by step instructions.
What's not so great: Some confusing deduction listing and e-file fees.

Smooth sailing through the tax return

Overall another great experience using TurboTax. Very easy to use for most income and deductions. The corporate move away from stock options to restricted stock units I would like to see in the Deluxe version rather than upgrade since it's really the norm now days.
What's great about it: Each year structure and organization keeps getting better!
What's not so great: Deluxe version doesn't support restricted stock units.

My impressions of Turbo Tax

I really enjoyed using the program this year. It left no guess work for me since I am retired and using the CSA 1099R rather than the W2 form. As I mentioned the program is very straight forward and easy to use. I'm impressed with what you've done with the program this year.
What's great about it: Very easy and straight forward
What's not so great: Was not able to print the final emailing confirmation screen

Beats Me Doing It Alone

A very important task that I used to pay a tax guy to do because of the frustration involved can now be done with only a fourth of the frustration that drove me to the tax guy in the first place. It also costed way less to get the finished product.
What's great about it: Prompts make getting the maximum return way easier and it's in a format that the IRS finds easier to process.
What's not so great: Some computer expertise (and patience) is required.

Great and easy to do

Liked easy transfer of info. Did it quick. Helped to remember things I had forgotten.
What's great about it: Liked step by step. Easy and quick.
What's not so great: Didn't have any cons.

IT IS A GOOD SOFTWARE THAT IS EASY TO FOLLOW. I HAVE USED IT FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND LIKE THE PRODUCT.

What's not so great: UNCLEAR ON MORTGAGE REFINANCING ON HOW TO ENTER COST

TX Tax Return

I have been a user for the past 9 years and have liked the upgrades. It is also very cost effective and taught me more about tax codes. The videos and education windows are great and easy to understand.
What's great about it: Easy to load and navigate. User friendly. Used it for the last 9 yrs. The file reviews are great.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
