EasyPeasy tax return!!

Turbo Tax has been our choice for the past 5 years and we would recommend it to everyone! It is so easy as it walks you through EVERYTHING and if you don't understand something, it gives you the option to open a help tab to explain it to you. LOVE IT!!

Works great but if I didn't keep my expenses in Quicken, I couldn't do it.
What's great about it: Good step by step questions.
What's not so great: Unsure on business vs. job expenses.

getting worse by the year

so much information on me that you already have that you chose not to pull in.
Best example: I chose to pay my federal amount owed from my checking account. you had the routing # and account # from prior years direct deposits and pre-populated it.
But when I selected to have my state refund deposited (into same account) instead of pre-populating the routing # and account # you made me enter it. that's stupid.

Same with my charities. you had the addresses from last year but made me re-enter it. stupid.
What's great about it: e file is free for both fed & state. no extra fees
What's not so great: too many extra steps that could easily be eliminated

Easy to follow

Great experience with this software. This was my first time to use Turbo Tax Deluxe. I highly recommend this software.
What's great about it: Less expensive than using a CPA. Very easy to follow
What's not so great: Was unable to electronically file due to a W2 not having a block marked

Customer Service is TOPS! Two calls resulted in full satisfaction with the two individuals answering my questions. Rodney, CSR, was one of the best I have ever encountered in any customer service role.

Efficient and easy to use

Very intuitive and easy to follow step-by-step guide. Importing investment data (1099B, INT, DIV) from financial institutions was efficient, convenient and accurate. Importing data from W2s did not work but I suspect that perhaps has to do with the employer not participating in the ADP service.
E-filing instructions and steps were very simple to follow.
Overall an excellent product for all levels of users.
